Strategy, Details & Result:
Spirit Forward is a luxury craft cocktail catering company based in Philadelphia. As an owner-operated small business, they were in need of design and marketing support, so servicing them as Creative Director (from 2014-2020) allowed me to strategize cohesive branding, business optimization, marketing opportunities and visual communications.
I conceptualized and developed a full brand strategy with an affecting brand story that visually translated the euphoric time of 1920's Paris called, Les Années Folles. I designed an extensive brand identity that evoked a luxury-lifestyle aesthetic via full logo suite, brand assets/collateral, digital presence, messaging and copy.
For Spirit Forward’s events, I devised and executed the visual elements, aesthetic and experiential design of high-volume signature events, formal catering events, B2B/B2C promotions/trade shows and brand activations. Additionally, I developed and designed the company website, cocktailsbyspiritforward.com, with updated UI, UX and functionality, photography, brand assets and copy.
In 2017, Spirit Forward won Philadelphia magazine’s ‘Best of Philly 2017 - Best Bartender for Hire.’ They have a notable client list, including: Whole Foods, Beam Suntory, Bacardi USA, Philadelphia Distilling, The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation, Philadelphia Wedding magazine, WeWork and The Union League of Philadelphia.
